Participants are introduced to the rules and structure of the board game Pathways to Opportunity, which models the educational trajectories of disadvantaged students. The theoretical component addresses the development and importance of reading, selected aspects of motivation, and their interconnections. Building on this foundation, participants explore and practice exercises and games that support reading development. Through collaborative work and shared reflection, the training provides the knowledge needed to conduct individual or small-group reading sessions and strengthen reading motivation. It also introduces major national initiatives and programs aimed at supporting disadvantaged learners. Participants are introduced to a structured program designed around clear pedagogical goals, and develop the competencies required for planning game-based learning activities. Through playing and learning a variety of games, they gain first-hand experience of the learning process, which is essential for designing and leading board game\u2013based educational sessions.
